For more than two decades, Jeremy has had the privilege of serving churches, worship leaders, and ministry teams in a variety of seasons. These words from pastors, leaders, and team members reflect the relationships, trust, and ministry experiences built along the way.
As lead pastor of Grace Place church in Berthoud, CO, I had the distinct privilege of serving together on staff together with Jeremy Girard for ten years. He was our much loved Worship Pastor. Jeremy is a man of integrity with a passion for Jesus, for people, and for worship. He is extremely gifted musically—playing both keyboard and guitar, with a great voice. He has a warm, engaging, authentic style—both publicly and privately.
Jeremy has experience in various churches and is able to adapt to the unique cultures and styles. He is able to coach, encourage, gently correct, and bring the best out of volunteers—musicians, vocalists, and tech. I highly recommend him for any type of worship consulting or leading.
I had the privilege of serving under Jeremy's leadership for 10 years as part of the Grace Place worship team, where he was a mentor, pastor and friend. Jeremy brings so much to the world of worship leading! First off, he is so incredibly talented, whether that is on keys, guitar or vocals, and can jump in with the best of the best. But he is also humble and gracious enough to play with those of us that are not as talented as he is. And because he is so comfortable doing music, he brings a calm to the team, even if things go sideways, he can roll with it, without missing a beat, and get the team back on track.
Jeremy also does a wonderful job of reminding us why we do what we do, the God we serve and the people we are trying to reach through a time of worship in song. He emphasizes excellence over perfection and leaning into our own personal worship instead of getting lost in the musical details.
I also appreciate Jeremy's efforts to build a strong, healthy team culture. He cares deeply for his team, and is good about praying for one another, fellowshipping together and welcoming new members to the team. And his joyful, energetic, fun-loving personality definitely draws people into the team.
Jeremy has a unique ability to develop worship leaders beyond just the music. He doesn’t simply teach songs or arrangements — he helps shape confidence, leadership, preparation, team culture, and heart behind ministry.
Through his mentorship, I grew not only as a musician and vocalist, but as a leader. He creates an environment where people feel challenged to grow while also feeling genuinely supported and encouraged. His attention to excellence, paired with his care for people, makes him incredibly effective at building healthy worship teams.
Jeremy leads with authenticity, humility, and a deep passion for Jesus and the local church. The things he taught me about preparation, communication, flow, and leading people in worship have stayed with me long after serving alongside him.
Jeremy has an obvious passion for worship leading and excellence. Even on harder days he gives his all and brings it out of the team as well. Sharing a stage with him for the past few years has been an honor and adventure. His skill on piano always blows me away, I could listen to it all day.
During rehearsal, he works with everyone to get them up to speed on changes or tweaks. But he also doesn't hesitate to make us laugh, usually with a perfectly timed singing Kermit impression.
Jeremy turned Grace Place into a home for me and i can't thank him enough for it.
Jeremy always has a smile waiting and a hug ready. He listens to what is going on in people's lives and is willing to help.
